The focus of Trifid is straightforward: improving visibility and control across some of the everyday tasks involved in planning and managing passenger transport operations.
The release introduces improvements across several areas of Echo, including:
- NEMT Patient Transport Services Icons, making specialist vehicles easier to identify throughout the platform
- Shared Ride Improvements, providing greater control and visibility when creating and managing shared trips
- Routes with Predefined Schedules, allowing expected arrival times to be defined and compared with live journey progress
- Credit Card Improvements, including improved pre-authorisations and support for incremental payments
- Additional improvements across planning and scheduling
Together, these changes give controllers clearer operational information while helping reduce manual work and improve day-to-day decision-making.
For organisations managing NEMT, Patient Transport Services (PTS), employee transport, ride hailing and other passenger transport operations, the Trifid release provides additional tools to manage more complex journeys, vehicles and payment requirements within Echo.
Over the next few articles, we'll take a closer look at the main features introduced with Echo: Trifid and how they can support everyday transport operations.
