Good communication between drivers and the control room is essential, but so is having access to the right operational information when decisions need to be made.

Echo: Thor's Helmet introduces several improvements to driver communications and reporting, helping operators manage messages more easily while providing greater visibility of day-to-day operations.

Improve driver communications and operational reporting with enhanced Driver App messaging, disruption reporting and greater data visibility across Echo.

Driver App messages can now be configured directly within Echo, giving operators greater control over the information presented to drivers without needing changes to be made through support.

The improvements include:

  • Configure Driver App messages directly within Echo
  • Highlight important communications so they are easier for drivers to identify
  • New Jobs in Disruption Zones report
  • New Driver Availability Exceptions report
  • Expanded voucher information across the Reporting and BI portals

For controllers, easier management of Driver App communications means important operational information can be shared with drivers more effectively.

The additional reporting tools also make it easier to identify jobs affected by disruption, review driver availability exceptions and access more complete voucher information without relying on additional manual checks.

For NEMT, Patient Transport Services, ride hailing, employee transport and other passenger transport operations, better communication and clearer reporting can help teams respond more quickly and make decisions using accurate operational information.

By improving both driver communication and operational insight, Echo helps connect what is happening on the road with the teams responsible for planning, dispatching and managing the wider operation.
